Our client asked us to design a welcoming and fun bedroom for her teenage stepson who loves the USA and Macdonalds! The room is used as a home office during the week, so the design needed to be multifunctional. We included family photos and memorabilia from treasured holidays to give it a homely and welcoming feel, but added a bit of fun with the large scale neon Macdonalds sign and half-painted walls. A wrap-around upholstered headboard turns the bed into a super comfortable space for gaming and relaxing, with a bit of colour-changing neon lighting recessed behind for good measure - everything a teenage boy could ask for!
