MEET Creative Interior Designer LAura gray

Established in 2015, Laura Gray Interiors was born from my lifelong passion for creating beautiful spaces and I now love nothing better than creating unique homes for my clients that reflect their and their families’ personalities.

I have always been fanatical about design. From a very young age I was surrounded by creative people - my father was an architect and my grandfather an art teacher and litho printer. I spent many a weekend exploring building sites and looking around show homes as a child, which I loved. I met the late Sir Terence Conran when I was about ten years old and, although very few ten year olds would even know who he was, I was completely awestruck when he actually spoke to me! A favourite pastime as a child was pouring over interiors magazines and design books to get ideas for my childhood bedroom and future dream home (something that hasn’t changed as I’ve got older!).

I love classic interiors but with a bit of a twist, mixing old and new pieces to create personality and adding eclectic artwork to bring a room to life.  I don’t have an absolute favourite genre, however, which is why I love working with so many different clients.

Based in West Bridgford, Nottingham, I offer a personalised design service to suit each client’s taste and budget. I have a team of trusted tradespeople, including cabinet makers and fitters, a joiner, electrician, plumber, team of decorators and soft-furnishing makers, all of whom I work with regularly. Together we will ensure your project is completed efficiently, on budget and to a high standard and, most importantly, the end result will feel like home.

What our clients say

“Laura is just amazing. Our home is stunningly beautiful and perfect for our family, and this is all down to her. Laura worked with us to design every room in the house. Our brief to her was “mid-century modern” with lots of colour – very different to other projects - and she provided this perfectly and with great originality. I find it impossible to visualise things but Laura’s presentations for each room design provided photos and mock-ups which enabled me to really engage with her proposals and meant that the final result was exactly as I expected. She is an absolute pleasure to work with”
