Over the course of a couple of years I worked with this client to re-design the majority of their home. I first visited them after they had completed building work for an open plan kitchen-dining-living space. The kitchen had been installed but they were struggling to know how to bring the space together and needed help sourcing flooring, lighting, furniture and choosing a colour scheme that would zone the different areas in a cohesive way. The project developed over time as we worked through through the living room, bedrooms, hallway and finally the Master Bedroom Suite, which was converted from three small and pokey rooms on their top floor. I worked with the builder to help them create a space filled with light and magnificent views - in this room simplicity was key. We re-used and up-cycled some of their existing furniture to use throughout the property and then sourced other items to complement those pieces. By re-using family heirlooms alongside bespoke joinery and new high street finds I helped them to create a welcoming home that all the family can enjoy for years to come.
