boys bunk room

This room was a complete blank canvas with a brief to create a fun bedroom for our client’s two young boys. A key part of the assignment was to create a space that would encourage them to go to bed at night! Our client loves holidaying in the USA and wanted a Hamptons vibe, but otherwise we had a free rein. We chose this fabulous wallpaper for the ceiling to give the room a real wow factor and then worked with one of our talented joiners to create this bespoke bunk bed, complete with little nooks for books and trinkets and a reading lamp on each level. The panelling gives the bunks a really cosy feeling and under-bed storage makes the most of the space. Black-out curtains and fun artwork and accessories with a nod to holidays in the US complete the look. We have it on good authority that the room has done its job and our client has finally enjoyed a few nights of restful sleep since we finished this scheme!
